Operationalizing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility
This course provides a clear understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (D, E, I, & A ) principles. It illuminates factors that have historically prevented the execution of focused D, E, I, & A programs. Additionally, we will perform a tailored environmental analysis to inform the development of a comprehensive strategy and an action plan. The purpose of these products is to facilitate the operationalization of D, E, I, & A sustainable programs in the workplace.
A Silent Dilemma: Revised
This sexual assault awareness course focuses barriers that have prevented, and in some cases, currently prevent Black women from disclosing sexual victimization. It examines theories that seek to explain the behavior of non-disclosure among some Black women. It also explores the essence of the experience of non-disclosure for some Black women. Participants of this training will examine a conflict transformation platform, one of many, that could facilitate disclosure. Additionally, this course supports D, E, I, & A training initiatives. Although this training focuses on the sexual assault, Black women and non-disclosure, its approach could be helpful when addressing embedded issues that have historically affected other marginalized communities.
Understanding and addressing conflict
The volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous character of contemporary conflict, at times, tends to create a sense of hopelessness and confusion. Cognizant of these feelings, this course focuses on defining conflict and the categories associated with problems. We will explore conflict resolution, management, and transformation techniques and environments suitable for their employment. Furthermore, we will discuss information sharing, the art of listening, building consensus, and other vital aspects and practices when addressing conflict.
Thinking Strategically and Assessing Risk
This course provides a systems approach to strategic planning. It also facilitates an awareness of the inherent responsibility of assessing risk throughout the strategic development process. As “form follows function,” this course will enable you to understand various advantages and disadvantages associated with internal and external operating environments. Leaders possessing an understanding of the environments mentioned above are better equipped to take deliberate and informed steps to, if need be, transform one’s organizational structure. This transformation could provide innovative leaders the ability to achieve short-term goals and long-range objectives more efficiently and effectively. Simultaneously, you and your team are identifying several forms of risk and ways to mitigate that risk. Lastly, we will introduce reporting cycles, action plans, and a simple tool to measure the effectiveness of your personalized strategy.
